Okay, there was some concern in this thread (linkage
) about what the Reply To feature in PocketDay would do for Cingular users. We were wondering if it would allow us to utilize a different Reply To address in place of our standard one we have to choose using the terrible Cingular BIS (desperatley needs update for those with power in Cingular...). So I installed the trial version of PocketDay this evening and gave it a try. Here is what happens. If you go into your Cingular BIS and go into Options, and then delete whatever Reply To address you have listed there (leave blank), then set up the PocketDay program to give you Reply To options when composing an email, you will have the ability provided to you. Here is the catch - when you compose an email on your BB, no matter which of the several Reply To addys you choose when composing, when the email is received it will show the Sent From address as being either your BB email address or a different one that you can set in the Cingular BIS settings under Profile, Sent From Address. But, when the email recipient chooses to reply, it will auto populate the To field with the Reply To address you specify in PocketDay. So, though I would rather have the ability to have my emails show my Reply To address in both the Sent From and Reply To fields, I guess this is better than being stuck with only one option to reply to. (I hope this all made sense...)
So I have reset my Sent From address to the standard BB address, and will choose from my variety of Reply To addresses I created in PocketDay.
