Default 9780 and my laptop

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I have a laptop with a T-mobile dongle that only wants to work if it is in an airport or library etc. It does not work in any house I visit.
My Blackberry on vodafone seems to pick up a good signal everywhere where T-mobile doesn't. Is there any way that I can connect the Blackberry to the laptop so that I can get internet on the laptop using the blackberry signal?
Thanks.

PS I think I have a 9780 - that is what I ordered - but where is the model number on the phone

Yes, you can use it, although Vodafone will likely charge you additional for tethering, and the data will be subtracted from your monthly allotment. You may be better off with a Vodafone SIM provisioned for mobile broadband in your dongle.
