Dear BB Users,

I do have a BB Pearl 8100, which i was using in USA with T-Mobile. Recently, i moved back to India, and i unlocked my phone through T-Mobile as instructed. I took a Vodafone GSM service in India, and that SIM is working well with my other mobile (Nokia). But, if i try to use it with BB, it gives "Call Failed" message. Though it displays the service provider as Vodafone, IN and signal bar looks good before the call, but once i try calling a blue arrow blinks n the top right corner. Not able to receive calls as well.

As many solution in net suggested for Battery Pull, Reset to Factory, Reinstall OS, i tried all. But, no luck. I tried few other Indian SIMs as well, still no luck.

Still gave a try by contacting the Vodafone CC, but they said nothing to do with them. Though i faced similar issue when i was in USA, it was very very rare. But, now after coming to India, it completely dead.

The country code may be wrong. It controls the dialing. try reading this and set it to the correct code.
