| | Re: Forward Locked
One issue is DRM. You indicated it was a picture you were trying to forward.
Email, SMS, MMS with any content that indicates DRM is "locked"
This is not a blackberry issue. Many different electronic devices now implement DRM.
This may help.
BlackBerry smartphones are capable of supporting Open Mobile Alliancexxx8482; (OMA) Digital Rights Management (DRM) 1.0 forward locked content, as per the OMA specifications. This type of DRM content is delivered using Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) or Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) methods.
When OMA DRM 1.0 forward locked content is displayed in the BlackBerry® Browser, the BlackBerry smartphone user can save or view a full image within the inline content similar to the way non-DRM inline content is displayed.
When the content is linked directly and not displayed inline, the BlackBerry smartphone user receives a message indicating that the content can only be saved. If the BlackBerry smartphone user clicks the Cancel button or presses the Escape key while this message is displayed, the content is opened automatically. The BlackBerry smartphone user can save the content after it has been opened.
