When I send email attachments from my Bold 9780 they come out scrambled - including the file name. Looks as if they are Base 64 encoded. Anyone else had this problem?

Are they being sent from an encrypted SD card, by any chance? What happens if one is sent to you, and you simply forward it?

Aha! Forwarding an incoming attachment works fine. So stuff on my SD card is encrypted. What is the way around this? Forgive my ignorance: recently upgraded from a Nokia 6310i

PS. Looking under Setup/Options/Security/Encryption I see that the Media Card Encrypt box is *not* checked.
