i downloaded fouarsquare on my bold 9000,and i have q question does it work on wifi conection,or it needsinternet from my service provider!!!

I believe Foursquare needs an active carrier data connection.
It won't work on WiFi alone.

It's sort of a safeguard to keep people from gaming the system. I remember I had WiFi on a flight from NY to FL and I wanted to do a Foursquare check-in when I passed over my buddy's house in North Carolina. Didn't work.

you need BIS in order to use foursquare. it won't open with wifi alone
