Default how to add contact in existing contact

Dear Sir,
I am not able to find method to add a new number in existing contact in my blackberry bold.
Kindly help.

contacts - highlight contact - menu - edit - scroll to field - enter number - menu - save

even in basic models there is a facility to add number in existing contact . that type of facility i am asking for .

Not a sir.
And also, that is how you add a number to an existing contact... unless you mean add a number that has called/texted you to an existing contact without writing it down first.
Then you need a 3rd party app as Motorcycle Mama said.

Maybe the OP means to add a second number to the already existing contact. You can edit a contact and add other numbers . Work, work2 Home home2 etc.
