Apologies if this is a dumn posting but i remain unclear as to how exactly wifi music sync works. If i drag items into Itunes on my laptop and both laptop and BB (Torch) are on the same home wifi network then these items should, fairly quickly, appear in my Music list on the Torch but be greyed out pending manual download? Is that absolutely correct?
Has anyone has success in transferring podcasts to the Torch in this way (ie from ITunes over Wifi)?

I should add that this is not working for me. I am a mac user and have the latest version of DM and device software. Both mac and torch are connected ti the same wifi router. I can drag songs into iTunes and see them appear in DM. They dont ever appear on the device. If i clock on Wi Fi Music Sync on the device and select "Update" this looks busy for about 3 minutes then fails with the message "cannot synchronise with desktop" (or very similar - it disappears quickly). Does anyone know what is going on?

You should use DM and insure you are not being blocked by DRM.

Hi - sorry, that doesnt help me at all. I have been using Blackberries and DM for a decade so i am not new to this. My Torch says "wi fi connected to desktop" and selecting manual wifi sync on the phone initiates "updating" followed by "could not synchronise with desktop". This is the same regardless of whether DM is open while i am doing this or i am running in 64 or 32 bit mode. There are no DRM issues (sync is perfect through a USB).
