For some reason, in My App World, it constantly changes showing me 7MB - 28.5MB when I don't even download anything. Then sometimes, a message pops up saying the application memory on my device is low. Is it supposed to be like this because of the update or what? I only have 10 small apps. Welcome to BB6 ;)
The OS allocates lots of memory for itself and you will find that Appworld is not the best way to truly see where your phone's resources are at.
Power Mem at appworld is the best of 6 memory booster apps I've tried. Its worth every penny ($4).
To make more memory available and to speed up your BB, try BB Boss 2.2.2 (for windows)
Here's is the review at BerryReview
Its a Must read!

A backup using Desktop manager is a must, first!
I shrank my OS6 9780/6.0.0.534 last night.
Freed up- 60MB flash
- 15MB Ram
And I'm no longer getting the hourglass and its much faster with Picture navigation now :D
(I've got thousands)
I selected all the languages and fonts, intro video, help files, themes, walpaper, ringtones (you can use your MP3's)
I didn't touch the section marked "advanced - removing these functions may result in problems with some models".
I did all these space-saving measures in 5 min! No OS Reload required! It shrinks the OS right on the phone, reboots and your ready to rock!
Its very easy, as long as you backup your BB first, already have Desktop Manager on your PC, and the BB Boss file is only 1MB. Just stay away from the Advanced section.
Here is the direct download link for BB Boss 2.2.2 (latest)
