I recently acquired a Blackberry Bold from a fellow co-worker. He said the reason he didn't want it is because it stopped turning on. At first, it wouldn't turn on and the orange LED light would come on, then it wouldn't charge. I ordered a new battery from Amazon.com and tried that once it came... 10 minutes ago. I'm not sure what I should do.

And what was the outcome of trying "that".

Was the battery OEM? Did you try charging the new battery with a wall charger for a couple hours?
