Anybody can share their experience , can I use bb let say 8120 with wi-fi on ATT without being recogonized and charged $15min?
I just tried today ATT branded BB, once you connect it then you will get sms with notice that data plan will be added automatically, probably they track it by EMEI, even I did block all data plan and sms servcies on my account.

Anybody tried unlocked T-mobile unit on ATT, probably TMO emie numbers are not on att base yet.

You cannot use wifi on the at&t network without the wifi service book. And you can't get the wifi service book without a Blackberry data plan.

AT&T will add the plan automatically. No way to get around it.

They're ALL in AT&T's data base. They get this from RIM.

And guess who ATT is buying? yep T-Mobile so expect the plan to be added there also.
