Unwanted names in emailing list
 

Hi there,

When i am going to send an email, if i enter the first letter of a persons name/email address, it brings up a bunch of names that i believe are from previous people i've emailed but are not in my contact list.... is there a way to get rid of these names by doing something to the cookies or history in the phone? Any help would be appreciated

In OS 6 you can go to Address Book > Option > Recent Activities and de-select Email. That might eliminate it. I don't know where you'd find that in OS 5, or if it's even an option.

thanks.... it was similar to that in that i went into the msg's screen/options/general options/show recent contacts when composing email: yes/no
