I was wondering if somebody could help me, we are currently using BES 4.1 on SBS 2003 and everything is working fine. We have activated logging of PIN messaging on our server but for some reason this is not working. All the phones are curve 8520's, is there anything further I need to do to enable this?
In the blackberry manager, I clicked edit global properties > IT Policy > IT Policies > then clicked "properties" on default, and set the PIM sync policy group for PIN to False, and then pushed the new policy out to each user. Yes SMS appears to be populated, and the PIN log file seems to be created but not populated.
Call RIM if you're in such a bind.
Most of us have full time jobs are aren't available every second to research your problems in our spare time. Get a grip.
I helped as much as I could. I have no idea what the resolution will be for your problem. Never seen it before.
I suspect that the lack of adequate response, in your eyes, is also due to other BES admins never having seen this issue either.
The reason I posted this here is because I believe this is a forum related to all things blackberry, I also have a full time job and don't appreciate your unhelpful response! You helped me by asking questions, which I answered, so maybe......just maybe you could have replied saying something like "Sorry I am unsure" and this is why I put another comment!
Please do not make me out to look stupid, considering how many posts you have replied to I suppose I wouldn't expect you to be such an arse about things!!!!
