hithere - i am a technophobe so any reply needs to take that into consideration please!!!

i have a 9780and use the calender in outlook for work. if i try and book an appointment when im with a client out of the office theonly option i get is to
"send using...... facebook or my email address." - not the 'default' calender that the rest of my appointments are booked in. i cant find an option to change to default calender anywhere.
the issue then is that it wont sync to outlook and those new appointments although on my phone arent then on my laptop calender.

i hope that this makes sense!!!

Sounds like your BlackBerry is on BIS. At any rate, I'm going on that assumption, and the following applies to that case. If you are on BES, disregard.

Your BlackBerry has multiple calendars, one for each email address that has been added to BIS, and perhaps other calendars, depending (such as Facebook).

The default calendar is set in device options. I'm not sure about OS 6, but check options > advanced options > default services. Set default CICAL and default CMIME to the calendar email address you want to use. This will be the calendar that Desktop Manager sync's with Outlook, and the default calendar used to send and accept calendar invites.

If you want wireless calendar sync without BIS, look into using Google Calendar Sync. Works well for me and keeps BB, laptop, PC and home computer all up to date.
