I am new to this group so please forgive me for asking this right up front. I am working with a company who uses BB's and BES and we are looking to try and secure the downloading of specific apps for use. I need to speak with hopefully a bb rep who is very verse on both the BB and BES.

We are allowing a certain group to have access to download and use a few specific apps after they have gone though a security tests from our company.

There are certain things which have to be addressed like for instance, which ports are used by the specific app and how can we make tell?

Does the app have to use an ISP or wifi connections only? If the app is used with out the wifi how does it connect?

Can the apps be downloaded from the BES only? We'd like to be able to allow the dl from the bes only.

So there it is. Once again I do apologize if this is a newbe question but I am new. If you can also send me to the right place I'd also appreciate that help as well. I've been to the BB area where the apps are located. They pretty much market the apps and don't identify how the apps work.
