Pls I need help, I use a bold 9780, I download a pdf converted application but later deleted it. I have discovered that my picture format have changed to jpg.rem instead of Jpg. I have tried changing it back but to no
avail, because of this I can't upload pictures directly from my bb messager n also my facebook upload doesn't work. So how can I change back to my normal picture format. Thanks

Turn off encryption in security options. Then move the encrypted files (those with .rem extension) to another folder. The encryption on those files will be undone when moved. Then move back to the original folder if you want.

No, you don't need to use the computer. In fact it won't work if you use the computer. Use the file explorer app on the BlackBerry. Navigate to the image files that are encrypted. Those will be the files that have a .rem extension. Then move them, move them anywhere, then move them back to the original folder. But turn off encryption first.
