I have 3 email accounts set up on my BB 8350i. The first two I set up each were given their own folders. The third one, for some reason, was not. Messages are coming in, and I can read them in the main messages folder (the one that seems to have all messages from all accounts in it, including phone calls). But that's a lotta extra stuff to dig thru. It'd be much nicer if it had its own folder like the others. FWIW, it's a tds.net account that's hosted by gmail. And it worked properly on my previous BB 8350i. Multiple attemts to set up this account have failed to produce a folder for it.

Any ideas appreciated! TIA ...

After you add the email account, send the service books.
Check to make sure that on the home screen, you've selected "Show All" as the icon could be hidden.

If not, go to Options<Advanced Options<Service Books and see if the service books for the account you created even show up there.

(Also a battery pull if you haven't done so)
