I am a sprint tech and I deal with blackberrys all day long. the long process of transfering or resetting a customer's phone is somtimes painfully long for customers.
Occasionally, I have to do a wipe of a customers phone. before, we back up their data and restore their contacts, calendar, memos and Messages (email).
When we do a PARTIAL RESTORE of these, and try to send an email it says email needs to be configured and is a huge headache.
What can I do, what settings do i need to restore or change in order to quickly fix or keep this from happening? it's very time consuming and I want to serve our customers quickly
There is not a specific model of blackberry this happens with, it happens with almost any.
