Default 8700g Insert SIM Card

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

My BB OS had crashed so I installed a new one by downloading one online. Now my BB does not detect the SIM and I get error Insert SIM Card. Does this mean my phone is Locked? How do i know?

My phone was unlocked when i purchased

How do I determine if my BlackBerry is "unlocked"? - BlackBerryFAQ

If it really was unlocked, then it is still unlocked.
