I had a Blackberry 8310 until Feb of this year. I then switched to another phone. I used to receive my work e-mails via the "public BB" server - my work does not have a BB server.

In practise it would mean that within a minute or so after I had received a work mail on my laptop I would also have it on my BB, so I was always up to date on both devices.

Since Feb I stopped using the BB, got a new laptop, moved from service providers and changed my cell number, and deleted my e-mail profile on the BB internet service website of my previous service provider.

I am however still getting 5 to 10 messages daily from the BB server - eg "etp2112.etp.eu.blackberry.net"
This is driving me up the wall, my previous service provider says that my profile has been delete on their side, there is nothing more they can do, as I say, I have delete my e-mail profile on the BB internet service - BUT still I keep on getting these messages on my work e-mail.

Any idea how I can get rid of it PLEASE!!!!!!!

Delete the Service Books that may still be on your device for that account.

Options > Advanced Options > Service Books

Are you reffering to the BB?

Yes. A stray service book left on an old device can sometime cause it to receive emails from an account thought cancelled.

I have tried that, they say the account does not exisit anymore - nothing further they can do

I tried the service book route. The account in question is not in there anymore, still getting those mails!
