Default Sent Items On BB Inbox

I'm sure you all have seen this, when I send a msg via my BB, it stays in my inbox rather than going to sent items. If I delete it, then there's no record of the message. Any workarounds, or is this a 4.0 fix?

I m also dealing with this. It is not really your Inbox that you are looking at as your main view. I am trying to find a way to set the Inbox as default view. No answe yet. You can hit Alt (e.g. half moon)-I to bring up all 'incoming' messages - that will exclude sent items. It does, however, include incoming phone calls, etc... There seems to be no perfect answer. You can choose Inbox through the View Foldermenu option, but it does not "stick' after you leave the email app. Hope this helps - at least in explaining.

Note that on the BB it is labeled the "Messages" folder - not Inbox. It can show everything - incoming, outgoing, SMS, phone, all in one place. As noted above the <ALT> <some letter> can be used to temporarily filter the messages folder.

You can use Moon key-O to see all "outgoing" items -- essentially equivalent to the Sent Items list that you're looking for.

All of the keyboard shortcuts and tricks are documented in the sticky thread called "BlackBerry Tips and Tricks" located here - http://www.blackberryforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=19
