Hi,
I heard that in order to ensure ur battery does well, u gotta drain it then charge fully the first time u use it. Is that true, and what r the kinda activities that depreciate the strength of a blackberry battery.

And make sure you DO NOT let the battery drain below 20% as this tends to shorten the battery's life.

Ditto to the above. Topping off the battery is good for the lithium ion type.

Also, avoid temperature extremes. Don't leave it in a parked car in the sun, for example. And if it is very cold, don't leave the device where the battery could freeze.

First, you have hijacked someone's thread. Bad form.

Do a search on white screen. It is not a virus. If it is all white, no error message, you have damage or an intermittent hardware failure. Did you get the device wet?
