Default Home Screen Shortcut to Excel File

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know if it's possible and if it is possible how to create short cuts to an excel file and have that be an icon that can be put on the home screen or any other screen.

I have a couple different excel files I use all the time and would like to be able to have a 1 tap launch for them. It's easy to do for websites but I can't seem to find a way to do it for a file.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Default Re: Home Screen Shortcut to Excel File

This is how.

Add a shortcut to your home screen or Favorites panel
You can add a shortcut to give yourself quick access to items such as frequently used websites, contacts, applications, files,
podcast channels, or media categories.
1. Browse to a website, or highlight the item that you want to create a shortcut for.
2. Press the key BB> Add to Home Screen.
To change the name of the shortcut, type a new name.
To change the location where the shortcut appears, change the Location field.
To add the shortcut to your Favorites panel, select the Mark as Favorite checkbox.
3. Click Add.
If someone helps, tell them by clicking the Thanks button
