Default SIM Card Error Fix

Please Login to Remove!

A big problem I encountered with my old Blackberry Curve was the SIM card error message that would pop up in the top right corner of the screen.

Pretty frustrating.

I would do the old take out the SIM card, wait 20 seconds and then re-insert it trick. It would work, but eventually the problem would come back.

Here's the fix:

When you take out the SIM card take a look at the flap that holds it in place.

There's a little flexible notch that determines the amount of friction between the phone and SIM card.

All you need to do is gently push the little notch towards where the SIM card sits. By doing this the amount of friction is increased and the SIM card has a better connection with the phone.
