often in a poor signal area my blackberry 8520 gets stuck when on the net with the timer going round so i pull the battery but is it the best way or is it better to alt ctr del, somebody has told me not to do that but it seems to sort out the phone and gets it working again just like a battery pull and is much easyer to do.Is it normal to have to reset the 8520 often? at least a couple of times a week i get stuck with the timer going round.thanks for any help

If alt-right caps-del (soft reset) works, then fine. With experience you'll know what you need to do. If the soft reset doesn't work, often a double soft reset will. It really is rare that you should have to do a hard reset.
