So here we go, I'm new to this and any help would be great.

So in my posesion I have 2 bolds 9700, both from different carriers.
My wife's is from bell Canada and works fine for a few days then stops and won't come on for days not sure why. I was told it could be a hardware problem. So I decided that since my wife's was hopeless I would take her LCD screen and use it on my brothers bold since his was cracked and didn't work.
Pulled apart both phones without a problem and put the screen on my
Brothers phone only to find that after I put his phone back together I just got a white screen. So I though I broke the screen, pulled the phone apart again and put the screen back on my wife's phone and screen worked perfectly fine. But the wife's phone only lasted for an hour or so before takin a few days off again. So what I'm asking is if there is any hope for any of these phones or not. Are screens not interchangeable for bb bold or is because it's different carriers?

I think(but not positive) that although the device models are the same, the screens could be different and not interchangeable. You should be able to confirm by looking at the number on the back of the two LCD screens.

I don't have that model BB so not sure what the numbers are suppose to be but others could respond with more knowledge.

I believe there are 4 different possible screens on the 9700. The only way to know which you have is to take it apart and look at the part number on the back of the screen.
