I am really hoping someone can help me out here!

This my first BB. I am not a businessman etc so I do not have my email on enterprise account or anything like that, just to put that out there stright away.

So I have a gmail account, which is all set up nicel on IMAP settings. I have outlook 2011, which is set up to my gmail account, and works nicely.

I go to my setup on BB run through the whole helpful system of setting up my gmail account on there and it works nicly apart from ONE thing. If I am at home working on my computer, and i get a email obviously i loook at in outlook. However although i have opened and read it in outlook the little visual indictor on BB is there, and if i go to my email, its unopened. Also if I read the email on my BB it doesnt show it has read on outlook if outlook is on. If i look at the email n my BB and outlook is off, when i turn it on, indeed it does show as read.


HOW can i fix this? I don't want to have to open all my emails everytime

This is just the way GMail works on BIS. It does two-way sync, but it can take a LONG time to sync read status from the server to the device. The other way around is much much faster.
