The battery life is terrible!

I'm looking for a method to turn off all data connections whilst the phone is holstered. My 4 hour search has got me nowhere, so can anyone here help?

It can be a free/paid App, a phone setting, a BES policy I really do not mind.

Your four hour search might have gotten you nowhere because this is a horrible idea. Completely defeats the point of having a connected device. A better idea might be to issue charging pods so the users can dock their phones in the office, or in the case of those on the road issue in-car charging cables. Maybe issue a spare battery as well?
