Default Task Issue

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I change the due date on a task on my BlackBerry, the start date is also changed. I want the start date to always remain the same (indicating the date the task was started) and don't want it to change whenever the due date is changed on BlackBerry. This does not occur when changes are made in the start date for tasks on Outlook. How can this be corrected. Thanks.

Default

It seems Intellisync by defaut maps Outlook's task start date to a Start date field it thinks is on the BB. But I can't see how to change that field on a BB. So I just removed the mapping of this field in the Intellisync set up for mapping the fields and now the Start date on Outlook is left alone. I like to set it to a null date.

Default Broken behavior with recurring Tasks

As far as I can tell, the mapping of Start Date on the BB to the Start Date on Outlook introduces some pretty broken behavior. Outlook seems to measure the current active occurrence in terms of number of occurrences since the start of the recurrence. When the start date gets changed and synced back to Outlook, this completely screws this up.

It seems pretty broken to default to sync Start Date if Start Date behaves differently between the Outlook and the BB!
