I am getting frustrated with Blackberry, the keyboard keeps freezing up and showing the stopwatch running as if it's busy. This is happening more and more often. Two friends I know who own the Torch also are reporting this issue. I turned off the location ability but it made no difference. Is this happening to anyone else? Is it a system problem? Thanks.

Yes, many times, no help. My niece has the same phone on T-mobile (I'm AT&T) and she says hers is doing the same thing as is a friend who lives on the West coast and is also AT&T. This is why I think it is a Rim problem, wondering if anyone else has the issue?

Update your profile with the correct and full OS specification from Options -> Device -> About Device Versions. It should be something like 6.0.0.xxx. I a 9800 won't be running 4.2. This may help us diagnose the situation.

Also what applications have you installed that run in the background, press and hold the menu button to get the list.

I do have version 6.0.0.600. When I press and hold the menu button I see icons for home, phone, blackberry messenger,messages, browser, media and emergency lock. I don't see the Google sync icon but I do have it. I have disabled Google sync but it makes no difference. I am not a fan of loading up my phone with apps and I have very few. I still can't figure out why this is happening, I appreciate any more ideas, I love my BB and don't want to change. Thank you.
