I've recently bought a Blackberry 8520. I already had a memory card (Sandisk micro SD) I thought this was the correct memory card for the phone, but when I insert it a message shows on the screen saying "A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer" What does this mean? How can I make the memory card work?

Oh and also, is there any way that I can make the key lights turn on? It's hard to see what I'm typing, especially with the case I have which is gold.

Did you format the media card after you installed it?

KB10527-Media card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is formatted 0 1823239291
