Default Distributing apps

Please Login to Remove!

We have got a zip file containing cod files and we like to distribute to users from BES. We are running version 5.0.3.

We do not allow users to download any apps into their mobile directly so the OTA is not possible in our environment.

Its related to a conference our company sponsoring and they have provided only .cod files and .JAD file. they havent provided the .alx files. can any one help in how to make a package using only .cod files

You can't. To deploy apps via BES software configuration, you need to have both the .alx and .cod files in the zip package.

If you haven't been provided with the .alx file, then you'll need to make your own.

I got a sample alx file from another thread (I am restricted to put the thread here though its from the same forum for reason I am a new user )

Going to try this and see if it works, thanks.

Here's an example of an alx file - it is pure text. Just substitute your info specifically the filename - the rest of the data can be anything.
