So I am posting this so that if others encounter a similar problem, they may have a solution.

I currently use an 8700c with BWC on Cingular connected to a work email address (Pop3). That work email is connected to my BWC and my Outlook. I noticed after a while that i would get an email on my desktop, but not on my BB. I could not figure out why. Then i logged in to my Pop 3 work address over the internet on my pc and noticed that there were no emails in my inbox, even though i had over 200 on my Outlook. I also realized about that time that my device would always get the emails when my PC was turned off. Why?

Well it turns out that Outlook was pulling the email in and therefore the email was no longer onthe server for BWC to pull in as well. When the PC was off, the mail stayed onthe server and a copy was sent to my BB. Then, when the PC was turned back on and the Outlook initialized, Outlook pulled the emails in. Weird. Because i dont remember Outlook doing the same to my GMail.

Unless you tell Outlook to leave a copy of the message on the server it will delete them. It's always worked that way. Gmail works different when you pop it from Outlook and messages stay there. Plus I would guess that you forward emails from Gmail to your BB so as soon as they hit gmail they go to the BB.

Ah thanks. While I know a good amount about BB's, I really dont know jack about Outlook.

Yep, simple Outlook setting to keep it on your POP account or not. Default is to delete it.
