Question Newbie needs help with profiles.

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
I am a newbie to the Blackberry 7130e, and need some help setting up profiles.

I look at the choices, and I see:
Loud
Vibrate
Quiet
Normal
Phone Only
Off
Email

Please don't ridicule my question, but how are these profiles different?
When you click on any of them, you get the same choices to modify:
Browser
Calendar
Level 1 Messages
Messages
Phone
SMS
Tasks

Any suggestions for setting these up?
What I would like to do is to have the blackberry vibrate once for a voicemail, and no vibration for new emails.
Is there an easy way to toggle between vibrate in holster and tone in holster (i.e. when I leave the office, I would like to have it ring while in the holster).

Thanks for any help with the profiles!

CB

it provides flexability. you can choose, as an example to 'ring' the phone even if you are in vibrate mode.

Good thing about blackberrys is you can create different profiles that fit your style. For instance I created one "do not disturb"
