The BB has the "standard" memory provided by Swisscom, I think a couple of Gb on a micro SD

Timing:
Opening agenda about 5 sec.
Opening appointment about 20 sec.

MicroSD card isn't material.
Need to understand how much Free Memory is on the Device

First, the model, is 9780, not 9800

Free memory is 229,895,416 bytes

v6.0.0.688 Plat. 6.6.0.236

The situation NOW is a little better even if still too much slow: going to the agenda takes just a couple of seconds, entering the appointment takes about 10 seconds

Try a battery pull and see if that helps. With the ON, remove the battery for about 30 to 60 seconds, put it back in and let the device reboot.

Hello again. The "battery trick" didn't change the situation.

I tried instead removing all agenda items (using desktop manager) and resync-ing the device.

Now "time issue" has changed again: it needs about 15" just to show the agenda, then, opening appointments is immediate.
Closing the agenda and opening again doesn't matter: it takes always 15 seconds to open, then realtime to open an item.

Total items in the agenda: about 500, with very little details, just a short description for each one.
