transfering contacts over
 

Hi I have copied my contacts from my old phone into my voda phone SIM and put it into my new blackberry curve so I can copy the contact into my blackberry but I dont know how to copy the contact from the SIM. The phone is with virgin media and comes up as invalid sim card my old SIM but I cant copy the contacts over.
Does anyone know how i can copy the contacts over. Can anyone help

Download desktop manager from RIM ( free) to your PC and do a device swap.

Do the following steps;

1. Open Contacts.
2. Display the menu and select SIM Phone Book. The SIM phone book will be loaded.
3. Display the menu and select Copy All to Contacts.
4. This will add all contacts to your BlackBerry Contacts list.

Check your contacts on the device to ensure that they transferred properly. Hope it will helps. :)

I think there should not be any confusion after Anjali's answer hence if you face any problem, you should search some video on youtube. A practical demo will make things quite easy.
