Arrow BIS Question - any way to turn BIS e-mail "off"?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7520 (v4.1) and set up my AOL account in the BIS with no trouble. Yet, even though I have my e-mail setting (send e-mail to handheld), in the OFF setting during the day when I don't want my Outlook mail to come to the handheld, my AOL e-mail still comes through.

I called Sprint and they said the BIS mail will always come through whether you e-mail settings are on or off. Is this correct?

This sounds right to me.

BIS and desktop redirector/BES are different ( I am assuming you are using redirector or BES at office)

When you change the redirector settings or BES Settings on the handheld, you are not effecting how the BIS works.

If you don't have BES or Redirector in your office, the option setting that you are changing on your handheld does absolutely nothing
You had me at EHLO!
