There are instruction here in the FAQ about IM options and the setting for most providers. I personally use Yak-on for my IM (AIM) but it also supports MSN. Just look at the stickies at the top and follow the links for IM.

Thanks so much. Once I can hook it back to my laptop I will have to grab that. Looks like I'll be sticking around as well!! Great info on these forums.
If you have the BB unlimited plan, all(most) of the 3rd party apps can be downloaded directly to the BB via a OTA file from each of the providers website. No need to hook it up to the PC.
