Anyone else frustrated with TASK ICONS??

I have a 7290 and every time I delete a task and lock my device a little box with a check mark and number shows up next to the time. Anyone know how to get rid of this???? So frustrating. :-x

remove and reinsert battery

should clear reminder flag
