| 100mb data Please Login to Remove! I've recently signed up to a Blackberry contract with Orange which includes 100mb of data a month. I called up Orange to ask how I might check my remaining data, as this doesn't show up when I check my other usage such as minutes. I spoke to a guy (who has the same plan himself) and was told that Blackberry data is "basically unlimited" which is why I can't check how much I have left, and was assured that it would be very hard for me to get charged extra for using it, so I shouldn't worry about what I use. He was so confident about this he even gave me his name and extension number should an issue ever arise. However, even though I can't just check how much I data have left, after a while I can see what I've used - it seems that in 2 days I've already used over 40mb (is that normal or excessive?). Surely if I carry on using it as I am (which is for email, facebook, free app downloading and BBM - no video streaming or other downloading) it will easily go over my limit and I will have to pay more? What he has told me has left me rather confused. |
