Desktop Software not detecting BB9900 (7.1.4 Bundle 1148) on 64bit PC
 
Hi

I have a HP TouchSmart 7320 PC 64 bit running Win7 Pro. I have Blackberry Desktop Software (7.1.0.36). When I plug my Bold 9900 (OS 7.1.4 Bundle 1148) into my PC, Windows 7 can see it. The Blackberry DEVICE Manager can see it. The password promt pops up.

If I plug any other BB into my PC I get same result.

If I plug my BB into another PC (32bit) it works fine.

Any ideas?

Try running it as an administrator.

Hi

Im a Domain Admin and the application is setto "Run as Administrator" already.

Its a wierd one. I have tried to set the Compatibiltiy to windows XP but that didnt help.

Have you located and deleted ALL copies of VENDOR.XML on the PC C: drive?
