Default How to use ABC Amber BB Editor with V.7 desktop software?

Please Login to Remove!

The problem is ABC Amber editor needs the older .ipd backup file and the newer desktop software apparently saves contacts as a .bbb file. Changing the extension manually does nothing.

I may have to revert to an earlier version of desktop software; does anyone know which was the last version to save as an .ipd file?

Also, what are the steps for reverting? Does the existing version have to be completely removed first?

I've searched but can't find answers to these questions, so I hope I'm not duplicating threads here. Thanks in advance for any help!

In case anyone is looking, ABC Amber Editor and their other Blackberry utilities are available here: http://www.processtext.com/abcblackberryipdeditor.html (look at the left hand column to find BB references; they are not all grouped together)
