I know its kind of a confusing question but i'm curious to see if i can get a bb with the $10 data plan and be able to use ramble unlimited. She wants to be able to use ramble just like i do with mine but she doesn't want the full bb plan on it. Thanks.

I already know the speil about nextel requiring the bb plan if they find out.

from BB home screen select Options -> Ramble IM

scroll down to Network connections. there are 3 settings

Device Default
Use MDS TCP
Use Device TCP

using MDS TCP will go thru the blackberry service
using Device TCP will go thru the nextel native TCP
