Default A couple SIM questions.

Hello.
I was wondering if I could use any T-Mobile SIM card in my Blackberry 8120.
Also, if I don't want to use T-Mobile any longer, if it would be possible to change carriers using my SIM card.
I got the phone a couple years ago from a friend of mine, because it was water damaged. It hasn't had a SIM card in it since then, and all I've ever used it for is picture, video, and music. It isn't too badly damaged. It works perfectly fine. The roller ball has stopped working as an "enter" button, though. That's easy to get around, it seems. It would be nice if someone could give me some ideas on how to fix that, however.
I would also like to know where I could find SIM cards, as well. I'd rather not use something like ebay.

Thank you in advance.

Default Re: A couple SIM questions.

Water damage is never good.
The phone is locked to the original carrier and if you want to use a different carrier you need to unlock it. See the Unlock servcie at the top of the Forum and the FAQ section for details.
