sleepygreen,

Welcome to the Forum. I currently have a 7250 with Verizon. You are able to access the internet as long as you have a data plan. You are able to access as long as you have a data connection, which I think is just the equivalent of have wireless service.

As for the battery life, obviously that would be a person by person evaluation. I use mine all day, receiving e-mails, text messages, cellular phone calls, and accessing the internet a few times a day. I have yet to see the battery strength meter lower than 2 or 3 bars.

Good luck and from my short experiences so far, I think you will love the wireless services and the Blackberry 7250.

Matt

im not sure if aim works on verizon,

but i can tell you that a berry > sidekick. i was a sidekicker for a bit and its nothing like a berry.

the internet on vzw is very fast esp with the new 7130e but u can get evdo on the 7520. if you wait the 7300 series should be out for vzw eventually

if you are a short cut user youll be great. i just hit letters and get all over any app in my phone instantly, its great.

it might not seem as user friendly as a sidekick but its stability and operation will make it the best device. sure its not as bight or have a camera like a windows mobile phone or slick or cool, but its damn sexy in its own way and a damn good phone.

the one thing i allways say about my berry is that for what it can do, it does better than any other phone, and never breaks down. (im my opinion).

ps. convert your friends that text to send you a text to email. no more sms, its pointless, just use the email.

problem with verizon is, with tmobile, i paid $30 a month for my unlimited data plan which included email, browsing, and unlimitted texting. verizon's biggest plan is $45 and it doesnt include texting...

you can use email to text anyone, and they can text to your email. there is no need to create an sms.
