Can I disable animation/transition for scrolling?

I can't find any option to change. Is this possible?

Thanks

Where? What? What exactly are you asking about?

For example, when I go to next email, there is sliding effect. When I do page-down on a web page, it slides up. This kind of behavior can be disabled on OS such as Windows.

No. You can't change that.

And just a note for the future, providing details in your initial posts would go a long way toward enabling people to provide answers.
