open and edit google docs

Hello,
I am used to work in google docs. That is why I donwloaded the aplication with the same name. But there is one fundamental problem. When I want to open any text file there is message on screen This is not valid file for app. MS Word 97-2008. I am sure thre must be some easy solution.

Use your BlackBerry as a modem for your PC and then work on it from there.
