Default email set up error and bbm

I’ve successfully set up my email and it did work at first then it stopped. I don’t know if I might have check or uncheck a certain selection but I can’t receive or send email. I keep trying to access the email set up page but it keeps saying error connecting to server. I’m using wi-fi...idk if that info helps. and Also I added a friend on bbm,she also added me and we both read “pending for authorization”. what should I do? I’m an apple user,1st time using bb so I’m really so clueless. pls help.

Do you have an ACTIVE BlackBerry Data Plan from your cell phone service provider?
