I'd been using the gmail app for years before it was unfortunately taken away.
I'm now looking for a way to browse folders (labels) on my blackberry

I've got a user who sorts his messages in outlook (google apps outlook sync) so his inbox has precious little mail in it, but he's still like to be able to read messages that have been sorted. Or look at sent mail. or whatever.
His BB (9810 7.1) is set up with BIS, his gmail account has pop and imap enabled.
I should note that this user has HUNDREDS of folders (labels) in his gmail account

I hit menu -> view folders, but am not given any of the folder options

Anyone have any insight?

You'd need BES to do that...

is there any other gmail apps out there that might be able to do this in a less clunky fashion?

Ugh, I love blackberry hardware (playbook, 9900) but the lack of apps is KILLING me!

Unfortunately all the Gmail solutions (including RIM's own) are completely terrible.

I struggled for years until I realized that all my gmailing just needs to happen on another phone.

I guess no one really uses gmail anyway, right?

RIM keeps putting the nails in their own coffin...
