Default Broken thumbwheel on 7780

Please Login to Remove!

I've got a 7780 with a thumbwheel that will not click any more. I had a quick look for a keyboard combination equal to clicking the thumbwheel, but can't find one. Does anyone know of a key combination that will allow me to "click"?

Thanks

Not that I know of, but the thumbwheel on the 77xx series phones is removable. You can get a replacement probably from one of the blackberry parts sites that pop up on the forums, or from a broken 77xx phone from ebay.

I think you can use the "enter" key to sub as a "click" on the wheel. Nut you are probably better off replacing the wheel if you can find one.

Ok - that is fine, we are only keeping this unit up and running for a couple of more days until our three 8700r units come in (we ordered them yesterday, but the local Rogers dealer only had one left ...)
